General Camping

Each festival ticket includes access to the site and camping in our general camping areas.  Just rock up, find your spot and setup camp, no extra charge at all. This will operate on a first come first serve basis. Should you wish to upgrade your camping experience, you can choose from one of the following options, namely;

• River Campsites
• Powered Campsites
• Camping Khapela 3* Glamping
• Harambee 5* Glamping Village
• Family Camping
• Family Camping Powered Site

Glamping

There are two different Glamping options at Splashy Fen, the 5 star Harambee Hotel and the 3 star Camping Khapela. Both options are currently sold out for 2026. Please contact them directly to be added to waiting lists.

 

Family Camping

This camping area has become a firm favourite over the years! Access to the family camping area costs R250 per adult (16 years and over) and operates on a cash at the door basis, first come first serve. These tickets cannot be booked online prior to the festival.

A new addition to this area, will be 10 powered sites. These will be located along the fence line immediately behind the Main Stage. The cost of each powered site will be R3750-00. This accommodates 4 adults plus children.

Camping Khapela

Powered Campsites

We will offer 55 powered campsites setup in a fenced off area on a stretch of flat land close to the river. The area is located at the bottom of the general campsite, on the right as you come over the concrete bridge onto Splashy Fen. These sites will have a basic power facility to each site, and will allow a maximum of 4 people per site. The sites are 10m x 6m in size and cost R3 750-00. for the duration of the festival. This price does not include your festival ticket which needs to be purchased separately. Your powered campsite pass can be purchased when you purchase your festival ticket.

River Campsites

In 2025, we will be allocating 40 reserved campsites around the river. These campsites will accommodate 4 adults (kids U12 not included in that number) and will be 10m x 6m in size. These will be booked online with your festival ticket and will cost R2250-00 per site for the duration of the festival, and will include early camping. Important to note, for those who normally camp down by the river, that these sites will now be booked out and reserved going forward. These sites will NOT be powered campsites, but will have a basic shower block available at the bottom next to the river.
