ARMBAND COLLECTION
Very important: No armband. No entry. Stop in at the Underberg Country Club on your way to Splashy Fen to collect your individual armband.
Bring your ID / copy of your ID, and remember that tickets cannot be collected on behalf of anyone else. One ticket = one armband. Check out armband collection times here.
NOTE: We know there’s always one person who buys tickets for the group, so don’t worry if your ticket isn’t in your name – that doesn’t matter. As long as you arrive with a ticket and your identification.
FMD SAFETY & CONCERNS
Splashy will not be cancelled due to Foot & Mouth Disease. Humans cannot catch FMD. You cannot take it home to your pets or other people. It is NOT the same as Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease.
To ensure responsible management and to protect surrounding farming districts, we have a biosecurity plan in place which will include spraying your vehicle at the Underberg Country Club, and other measures accordingly.
These measures are designed to ensure that if you attend Splashy, you do not carry anything into other farming areas afterwards.
THE ROAD TO SPLASHY FEN: BE SAFE OUT THERE
The R617 from the N3 to Underberg has several potholes. Please ensure that you drive safely, especially after dark. Any issues, please call Berg Protection Services control office at 033-701 2235.
As you reach Underberg, there is a section of road around 1km in length that will have a stop and go in place. This is going to affect your travel time to Underberg. We have met with the contractors as well as the local Traffic Department, and a system will be put in place to best help deal with the volume of traffic that the festival attracts – both on arrival and on departure.
EAGER BEAVER EARLY CAMPERS
If you have an early camping pass, this allows you access to the site from 14h00 on Wednesday 1 April 2026.. Collect your armband first from the Underberg Country Club
Gate Times
Please note the following gate times. These times are strictly controlled and no access will be granted outside of these times. Also, GLASS POLICY: we ask that wherever possible you use cans. Broken glass is a big issue on the farm, as are the bottle caps from bottles which get lost in the grass.
For first time Splashy Fenners, you arrive at the Underberg Country Club first to scan your ticket and get an armband, after that you travel further to get to the Splashy gate entrance.

DROP OFF AND COLLECTION:
If you are dropping attendees off, please bring a driver’s license or ID with you. You will be required to leave this at the entrance gate. It’s the only way we can ensure people don’t “drop off friends” and then disappear into the campsite until Monday morning for free. Once you’ve dropped your crew off, you will have 1hr to leave, and your document can be collected from the gate on your way out.
When collecting people on Monday, you will be allowed access from before 07h30, or after 11h00 only. Between these times, the festival will only allow people to leave and operate as an exit process only.
IMPORTANT: TICKET TRANSFERS
If you have sold your ticket, or given it to someone, PLEASE ENSURE YOU DO A TICKET TRANSFER. Simply log into your Howler account HERE choose to transfer the ticket, and allocate it to the new lucky owner. This allows us to better communicate with people on site and know who is using what ticket.
SEE YOU AT THE BAR
We have 5 separate bars located at various locations around the festival site.
Upon arrival, you will be given a super cool, top-quality reusable Splashy cup to use throughout the festival. Please keep it for the whole weekend and help us to reduce our carbon footprint. If you love it as much as we do, you can buy extra ones at the bar to take home for your sad friends who couldn’t make it to Splashy this year.
LOVE THE FARM. LEAVE NO TRACE
Recycling continues to be a key part of the Splashy Fen Music Festival, and with the support of our partners Coca-Cola, we’re working hard to keep improving our waste and recycling efforts across the event.
Our official recycling partners, the passionate crew from Waste Me Not Events, will once again be active throughout the festival, helping to collect, sort and manage waste across the site. You’ll see their team everywhere, making it easy for everyone to play their part.
Please make use of the recycling points and work with the Waste Me Not team to keep the festival clean. There will also be some great on-site incentives and prizes for those who get involved!

CORONA SPLASHY VIEWS DECK:
The Corona Splashy Views Deck has become one of the festival’s favourite hangout spots. Swing by for cocktails with a view, the occasional surprise pop-up dance party with DJs and performers, or simply a moment to catch your breath after climbing back up from the river. Whether you’re there for the music, the atmosphere, or just the scenery, it’s a little pocket of Splashy magic you won’t want to miss.
SECURITY ON HAND:
The only time you’ll hear us talking seriously, is when we’re talking about safety and security at Splashy Fen. We want every single person on site to feel at ease, to rest assured and to know that we have taken every precaution we can to ensure that your Splashy Fen experience is an amazing one. That’s why we’ve already got our teams in place for #splashy2026 and they’re a no-nonsense bunch. But we’re also asking all festival goers to please be vigilant and sensible; don’t take something that doesn’t belong to you and lock any valuables in your car; not in your tent.
FIRE WARNING:
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY VITAL. We allow people to camp next to their cars, but with that comes a very important responsibility, and that is to ensure that you control all fires. Please ensure that fires, whenever not attended, are FULLY EXTINGUISHED. Even a small change in the wind can spark a small piece of coal that burns a tent down or could even ignite a car.
COME HUNGRY:
From wood-fired-up pizzas to the smoothest smoothies, falafel amaze-balls, and everything-on-it breakfast buns, to gourmet burgers, vegan curries, waffles to swoon over, wors rolls, burritos, wraps, and all sorts of drool-worthy goodies, we’ve got something for everyone.
Pick a fave, or sample them all, but be sure to come and play at our Acoustic Food Court.
