ARMBAND COLLECTION
By now you know the drill. No armband. No entry. So make sure you stop in at the Underberg Country Club on your way to Splashy Fen and get your individual armband.
Please bring your ID or a copy of your ID, and remember that tickets cannot be collected on behalf of anyone else. One ticket = one armband. Check out the armband collection times HERE.
NOTE: We know there’s always one person who buys tickets for the group, so don’t worry if your ticket isn’t in your name.
THE ROAD TO SPLASHY FEN: BE SAFE OUT THERE
The R617 from the N3 to Underberg has several potholes. Please ensure that you drive safely, especially after dark. Any issues, please call Berg Protection Services control office at 033-701 2235. On a separate note, the P125, the dirt road from Underberg to Splashy, has recently been redone by the Dept of Transport so this road will be a much better and easier experience.
EAGER BEAVER EARLY CAMPERS
If you have an early camping pass, this allows you access to the site from 14h00 on Wednesday 16 April 2025. Your early camping pass will be scanned at the festival gate once you’ve collected your armband from the Underberg Country Club.
Gate Times
Please note the following gate times. These times are strictly controlled and no access will be granted outside of these times. Also, GLASS POLICY: we ask that wherever possible you use cans. Broken glass is a big issue on the farm, as are the bottle caps from bottles which get lost in the grass and then cattle choke on them outside of the festival.

DROP OFF AND COLLECTION:
If you are dropping attendees off, please bring R1 500 cash with you. This is the price of a festival ticket and will get you access to the site. It’s the only way we can ensure people don’t “drop off friends” and then disappear into the campsite until Monday morning for free. Once you’ve dropped your crew off, you will have 2hrs to leave for your full refund, which can be collected from the gate on your way out.
When collecting people on Monday, you will be allowed access from 11h00 onwards.
IMPORTANT: TICKET TRANSFERS
If you have sold your ticket, or given it to someone, PLEASE ENSURE YOU DO A TICKET TRANSFER. Simply log into your Howler account HERE choose to transfer the ticket, and allocate it to the new lucky owner. This allows us to better communicate with people on site and know who is using what ticket.
SEE YOU AT THE BAR
We have 5 separate bars located at various locations around the festival site.
Upon arrival, you will be given a super cool, top-quality reusable Splashy cup to use throughout the festival. Please keep it for the whole weekend and help us to reduce our carbon footprint. If you love it as much as we do, you can buy extra ones at the bar to take home for your sad friends who couldn’t make it to Splashy this year.
LOVE THE FARM. LEAVE NO TRACE
Recycling has become a key part of Splashy Fen Music Festival and Corona, our key partners, has really helped to drive this change. In addition, the passionate crew from “Team Up to Clean Up” are our official recycling partners and will be active everywhere around the festival… so there’s no excuse not to do your bit. Please recycle your waste with the team, and keep an eye out for some amazing prizes on site.

SHOW US THE MONEY
All our bars will accept credit cards, cash, and Zapper, as will our craft and food stalls. There will be NO ATMs on site. With load-shedding cell signal becomes very poor, so PLEASE BRING CASH TO USE AT VENDORS AND BAR when the cell signal is not working.

Want to WIN BEER FOR A YEAR? Corona and Flying Fish are donating beer for a year to the team of campers who designs the coolest Campsite Flag. Our team of judges will cruise the campsites looking for your designs, so make sure they’re flying high or displayed loud and proud on your tents so we can see them! Winners will be announced on Social Media on Saturday at 1 pm. Good luck.
SPLASHY VIEWS KLIPDRIFT DECK:
An absolute must-experience! This year the deck has doubled in size to accommodate more party people. So grab a mate and come sip on one of our famous Splashy Cocktails while overlooking the River.
SECURITY ON HAND:
The only time you’ll hear us talking seriously, is when we’re talking about safety and security at Splashy Fen. We want every single person on site to feel at ease, to rest assured and to know that we have taken every precaution we can to ensure that your Splashy Fen experience is an amazing one. That’s why we’ve already got our teams in place for #splashy2024 and they’re a no-nonsense bunch. But we’re also asking all festival goers to please be vigilant and sensible; don’t take something that doesn’t belong to you and lock any valuables in your car; not in your tent.
FIRE WARNING:
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY VITAL. We allow people to camp next to their cars, but with that comes a very important responsibility, and that is to ensure that you control all fires. Please ensure that fires, whenever not attended, are FULLY EXTINGUISHED. Even a small change in the wind can spark a small piece of coal that burns a tent down or could even ignite a car.
COME HUNGRY:
From wood-fired-up pizzas to the smoothest smoothies, falafel amaze-balls, and everything-on-it breakfast buns, to gourmet burgers, vegan curries, waffles to swoon over, wors rolls, burritos, wraps, and all sorts of drool-worthy goodies, we’ve got something for everyone.
Pick a fave, or sample them all, but be sure to come and play at our Acoustic Food Court.

We’ve hand-picked over 30 arts and craft vendors to join us this year, so that you’ve got a spoilt-for-choice selection of beautiful artwork, fashion items, accessories, gum boots, and more. We’ve even got a stall selling mattresses in case you leave yours at home, and a pharmacy that will be stocked up with all the essentials you’ll need.
